WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Friday afternoon, the Fall 2025 Northeast-10 Honor Roll was announced, seeing Post University Men's Ice Hockey land 29 players on the list, while Post University Football tallied 31 honorees for a combined 60 student-athletes being named to the honor between the two squads.
In all, 11 players were awarded the Academic Excellence mark after finishing the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, including sophomores
Jahiem Chambers and
Branden Cole from Football along with freshman
Nathan Hawkins from the team as well. The other eight came from Men's Ice Hockey in seniors
Benjamin Cunneen and
Ryan O'Connell, junior
Connor McCowell, sophomores
Aidan Canady,
Eoin Reager, and
Jonathan Meijer, and finally freshmen
AJ Guzzardi and
Cole Ranta.Â
Of the 31 players from Football, 16 of them earned Academic Distinction after netting a GPA between a 3.50 and a 3.99, while Men's Ice Hockey had 15 in that same category for a combined 31 honorees. In the Academic Honors category, which encompasses individuals with GPAs between 3.00 and 3.49, six players from the Men's Ice Hockey team achieved that mark, while the remaining 12 Football players combined to make it 18 total student-athletes in that honor.Â
As a team, Men's Ice Hockey finished the fall with a 3.69 GPA while Football recorded a 2.73 GPA.Â
