WATERBURY, Conn. -- After two years on the pitch competing for the Post University Women's Soccer program, recent graduate Kaeleigh Serianni has been named the Assistant Equipment & Operations Manager under Director of Equipment Operations and Assistant Contest Manager,
Mike Chisholm, as announced by the athletics department on Wednesday morning.
Serianni has been a leader on and off the field during her time at Post University, finishing up her two-year career having played 35 games, starting 31 of those with two goals, five assists, nine total points, and 2,387 career minutes while playing at the midfield position. However, off the field, the 2023 graduate assisted in a variety of ways around the campus and athletic community leading to her position today.
Speaking about Serianni, former Post Women's Soccer Head Coach Renato Topalli, her head coach for one season and assistant for another, said, "Kaeleigh is an exceptional young woman. She was part of our leadership team at Post Women Soccer and an RA during her time as a student-athlete. Her passion, commitment, dedication, and competitiveness added tremendous value to our team. Kaeleigh is a true team player and will do whatever it takes for her team to be successful. She is the type of person who has tremendous drive and, as a result, will be very successful in life and in her career! "
Upon her arrival at Post from Harcum College, where she got her Associate's Degree in General Studies, Serianni was a Resident Assistant on campus, a role she held for two years while getting her Bachelor of Science in Marketing. The Pennsylvania native was tasked with budgeting and allocating funds for residence hall and floor events in her assigned dorm as well as creating and marketing student-centered programs promoting a variety of holistic approaches to the residences.
Last summer, Serianni began working in athletics as a Student Assistant Sports Equipment Manager under
Mike Chisholm, where she assisted with coordinating uniforms and equipment, laundry service, equipment maintenance, and worked on the inventory, distribution, and storage of equipment. On game days, she would also help out at events with music, public address announcing, videography, and photography in addition to other duties she was called upon to assist with.
Speaking on the hiring of Serianni to work with him,
Mike Chisholm said, "Kaeleigh has been an asset to the equipment room and grown tremendously as a young professional over the past year, making it a no-brainer to bring her on board. She is somebody that I can always count on to get the job done, has always been a quick learner, and a hard worker who will do anything she is called upon to do, whether it be equipment-related or game-related. I look forward to watching her continue growing as a professional with us at Post University and continue being an asset to what we do in the equipment room and on game days."
Serianni finished her undergraduate degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA and completed her Master of Business Administration at Post University in the Spring of 2025.
