Myles Snead Earns Fourth NE10 Rookie of the Week for Football, Felix Nassen Named CACC Defensive Player of the Week for Men's Soccer, Four Eagles Receive CACC Weekly Honor Roll

WATERBURY, Conn. -- Freshman safety Myles Snead earned his fourth Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for Post University Football while graduate defender Felix Nassen tallied his second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Week for Post University Men's Soccer, highlighting six weekly awards for Post Athletics announced by the conferences on Monday afternoon. Also included on that list were junior forward Diego Righi and graduate goalkeeper Ricardo Moreno who got CACC Honor Roll for Men's Soccer while senior midfielder Alyssa Hebb got named to the CACC Honor Roll for Post University Women's Soccer and junior libero Alyssa Groves also made the CACC Honor Roll for Post University Women's Volleyball.

Myles Snead - Rookie of the Week - Football
Now the four-time Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, Snead continued to raise the bar this week for the Eagles in their 56-28 loss against Saint Anselm College. Snead had the second-most tackles on the team with 13 which included seven solo tackles and six assisted tackles while also recording his first collegiate interception in the loss.

Felix Nassen - Defensive Player of the Week - Men's Soccer
Nassen anchored the backline for the Eagles this week against Felician University and Goldey-Beacom College, playing in all 180 minutes for a Post defense that allowed just one goal in that span. Nassen helped limit the Golden Falcons and Lightning to a combined 12 shots on goal in those two games which helped the Eagles go 1-0-1 overall on the week.

Diego Righi - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Righi netted his second goal of the season and recorded his first assist for the Eagles during their 1-0-1 week which featured two games in conference play. After playing 40 minutes against Felician University in a 1-1 tie on Wednesday, Righi played a part in both Post goals on Saturday against Goldey-Beacom College, scoring what would be the game-winning goal against the Lightning before assisting on the second goal of the game in the 2-0 conference win for the Eagles.

Ricardo Moreno - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Moreno had another solid week of conference play for the Eagles, helping lead Post to a 1-0-1 record against Felician University and Goldey-Beacom College after allowing just one goal across 180 minutes. Moreno gave up that one goal in the second half against the Golden Falcons, but that would be all that got by him as he made 11 saves on 12 total attempts by both opponents combined to lower his goals-against average to 1.47 and move to a .763 save percentage on the season.

Alyssa Groves - Honor Roll - Women's Volleyball
Groves continues to lead the nation in digs per set after another quality week for the Eagles who went 1-1 overall and in conference play with a four-set win over Dominican (N.Y.) before being swept in three sets by Holy Family University during the weekend. Groves manufactured 47 digs in seven sets for an average of 6.71 digs per set while also adding eight assists and one service ace during the week. Groves piled up 32 digs against the Lady Chargers on Wednesday before adding 15 more on Saturday against the Tigers.

Alyssa Hebb - Honor Roll - Women's Soccer
Coming off the bench in the first game of the week for the Eagles, Alyssa Hebb continued her career year with two goals against Felician University on Tuesday afternoon to help lead the Eagles to their first win of the season, 3-2, over the Golden Falcons. Hebb played in 67 minutes, scoring two goals in the second half to help lead the Post comeback with a penalty kick goal and the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute as part of a two-goal, four-point week.
