Omar Florindo headlined the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Awards release for the Eagles, earning Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last week on the pitch. Additionally, five more Post University athletes in Women's Volleyball junior middle hitter

Omar Florindo (Men's Soccer) - Defensive Player of the Week
Omar Florindo played a pivotal role in Post University Men's Soccer's 1-0-1 week in Springfield, Massachusetts against AIC and Adelphi. Florindo registered his first career three-point game against Adelphi, scoring the game-tying goal against the Panthers in the second half and assisting on the second goal of the afternoon for junior forward
Francisco Sousa en route to a 3-1 win for Post.
Francisco Sousa (Men's Soccer) - Honor Roll
Francisco Sousa played a major role in helping Post University Men's Soccer record their first win of the season against Adelphi, notching two goals and four total points in the 3-1 victory. With the game tied at one, Sousa netted a pair of goals to help give the Eagles the lead and a cushion against the Panthers. It was the junior's second multi-goal game of his career with the last one coming last year with his hat trick against Goldey-Beacom.
Soren Jensen (Men's Soccer) - Honor Roll
Soren Jensen turned in a solid 1-0-1 week for Post University Men's Soccer during their weekend in Springfield, Massachusetts. Playing in all possible 180 minutes, Jensen recorded five total saves on the seven shot attempts he faced, with both goals only coming his way via penalty kick.
Aryn Nisbet (Women's Soccer) - Honor Roll
Freshman goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet started off her collegiate career strong against a pair of tough opponents in University of New Haven and Pace University during the 2023 Post University Classic this weekend. Playing in all 180 possible minutes, Nisbet stopped nine shots against the Chargers on Thursday to help keep her team in the game before stopping eight shots against the Setters, including a trio of tremendous diving saves.
Despite the 0-2-0 week for Post, Nisbet totaled 17 saves on 20 total shots for a .850 save percentage while her opponents attempted a total of 42 shots towards the net during the weekend.
Hannah Brandt (Women's Volleyball) - Honor Roll
In her first week of matches with Post University Women's Volleyball, junior middle hitter
Hannah Brandt dominated on the offensive side of the ball, recording 23 kills on 40 attempts for a .425 hitting percentage. Brandt's best offensive performance came against Queens College in which the junior notched 11 kills on 19 attempts for a .474 hitting percentage. Brandt also added on six total blocks on the weekend as well as a service ace.
Drew Paskanik (Men's Cross Country) - Honor Roll
Junior
Drew Paskanik led the way for Post University Cross Country at the Adelphi Panthers XC Invitational on Friday, finishing 52nd overall in a time of 29:21.30, his best time and finish in the three years he has ran the event.
Last year, the junior placed 59th overall in 31:07.80 after a freshman season in which he placed 59th overall in 29:31.70.
