Philadelphia, Pa. – The Post University women's tennis team defeated Chestnut Hill on Wednesday afternoon, 4-3 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match.
Post moves to 6-1 on the season and 1-1 overall. The Griffins are now 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the CACC.
Megan Lambardt and
Micaela Rosignuolo won their Doubles No. 1 match, 7-6 (7-3) but the Griffins took the doubles point.
Oceane Mallevre won her singles no. 3 match, the final match to determine the winner, in three sets 7-6 (10-8), 4-6, 6-3 over Nele Haag.
In singles,
Annunciata De-Souza took care of business in a 6-3, 6-4 win in singles no. 1. She is now 6-1 overall in singles play this season.
Rosignuolo, who is also 6-1 on the season, won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3 in singles no. 4, while
Natalia Gonzalez Ramos won 6-3, 6-4 in singles no. 6.
