Waterbury, Conn. – Letlhogonolo Ramafuthula, Antonio Spencer and
Derin Paskanik were all named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor Track and Field All-East Region team.
Ramafuthula was named to the team in both the long jump and triple jump. He had a 7.04m jump, a career high in the 2022 Aggie Classic. He won the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational with a jump of 6.30m. He finished fourth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships with a 6.70m jump. In the triple jump, he jumped a season-best 14.45 in the 2022 Aggie Classic. He won the Black and Gold Invitational on April 2 with a jump of 14.44m. He was third in the CACC Championships with a jump of 14.05m. Ramafuthula also made the All-East Region team in the triple jump in 2019.
Spencer had two wins in the 100m this season, including a career best 10.74 in both the Wilton Wright Invitational and Black and Gold Invitational in April. He also finished in second place at the Mount Saint Mary's College Track Invitational. He was also a member of the 4x100 team that won the CACC Championship.
Paskanik was named to the All-East Region in the hammer throw. He won the CACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a throw of 47.96m. He was also third in the Jim Barber and Jack Maloney Invitational with a throw of 48.86m, which was a career-best.
