New Haven, Conn. - Antonio Spencer and
Letlhogonolo Ramafuthula each won events at the Wilton Wright Invitational, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.
For the second consecutive week, Spencer won the 100m dash with a time of 10.74. It is the second consecutive week he won the 100m. He also won at the Black and Gold Invitational last week with the same time.
Ramafuthula also won for the second straight week, taking home the triple jump title with a jump of 14.37m.
Both Ramafuthula and Spencer were also part of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished second at 43.06 along with
Hans Dalambert and
James Reyes.
Also on the men's side,
Christopher Richards finished fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 51.69.
Drew Paskanik placed fourth as well in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 11:06.91.
In other field events,
Derin Paskanik finished third in the hammer throw with a distance of 47.31.
On the women's side,
Martina Stanchi finished fifth in the 100m with a time of 12.63.
Anna Bonato had a throw of 43.43 in the hammer throw.
