Orangeburg, N.Y. – The Post University men's tennis team lost a close 4-3 match to Dominican College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest.
The Eagles now stand at 5-8 overall and 2-1 in the CACC.
Post took the doubles' point to kick off the match as Gustavo Kerber and Nino Krneta won doubles no. 2, 7-6 (7-3) and Niklas Langenfield and Jose Nunez won doubles no. 3, 6-4.
In singles no. 5, Anton Anderson made quick work over Skylar Ross, 6-2, 6-1 and Jose Nunez won his fifth straight singles match, 6-2, 6-3 in no. 6.
Up next, the Eagles head to Jefferson to play the Rams at 1 p.m. on April 1.
Kerber Wins CACC Rookie of the Week
Kerber was named CACC Rookie of the Week after his performance last week in wins over Dominican and University of the Sciences.
Kerber won both his doubles and singles matches including a straight set win over USciences in no. 2 singles.
