Orangeburg, N.Y. - The Post University women's tennis team won a 4-3 match against Dominican in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles are now 7-2 overall and 2-2 in the CACC.Â
Post took the doubles point, winning all three matches.
Micaela Rosignuolo and
Nina Langenfeld won their doubles no. 1 match in a thrilling 7-6 (7-4) match over Rupkatha Mukherjee and Vanya Tyagi.
Oceane Mallevre and
Natalia Gonzalez Ramos won 7-5 in doubles no. 2 and
Megan Lambardt and
Julia D'Occhio won 6-4 in doubles no. 3 over Bipasha Mehn and Ava O'Brien.
Rosigniolo once again won her singles match at no. 2, defeating Mehn 6-2, 6-4. Rosignuolo is now 8-1 in singles overall and 8-1 in doubles.
In singles no. 5, Gonzalez Ramos won 6-3, 6-1 and D'Occhio won 6-2, 7-6 (6-1) over Ava O'Brien in singles no. 6.
Up next, the Eagles take on Wilmington on Sunday, October 9 against Wilmington at 1 p.m. at home.
