Wilmington, De – The Post University women's tennis team lost 4-0 to no. 2 seed Jefferson in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tournament semifinals on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Wilmington University.
The Eagles, seeded third, lost the doubles point, dropping no. 2, 6-0 and no. 3, 6-3.
Post dropped no. 2 singles as Megan Lambardt fell to Noelle Frenzel, 6-1, 6-0. Oceane Mallevre lost her no. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-2 and Nina Langenfeld lost her singles no. 5 match, 6-1, 6-1.
In singles, three matches were left unfinished as Annunciata De-Souza was leading 7-5, 1-4 before the match was declared unfinished in singles no. 1. Micaela Rosignuolo's no. 3 singles and Natalia Gonzalez Ramos no. 6 singles were also called.
