New Britain, Conn. - Jannik Trunk of the Post University men's cross country team finished 59th over the weekend at the Ted Owen Invitational hosted by Central Connecticut State University. in the Men's 8K event.

With a time of 28:36.7, he was the top finisher for the Eagles who finished 18th overall with 514 points. Adam Pepin finished with a time of 31:57.1. Georgios Moukas had a time of 32:48 and Alrick Grant had a time of 34:15.8. Nolan Mazako had a time of 37:02.2 and Kailon Kirby had a time of 41:27.6.

The women's cross country team also finished 18th in their 5K event as Melissa Evans was the top finisher at 24:48.4. Brianna Ross finished closely behind at 25:10.2. Bianca Knox, Cecilia Spoldi and Vanessa Bobb each finished one right after another in times of 29:26.6, 30:35.7 and 31:16.0, respectively. As a team, the Eagles had 578 total points.
