Middlebury, Conn. - The Post University men's tennis team dropped its season opener to Southern New Hampshire, 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Edgewood Bath and Tennis Club.

Joe Alvord won the lone match for the Eagles in singles No. 4, a straight set win over Guido Jannsen, 6-4, 6-3.
Nino Krneta played a tough No. 1 singles match against Willem van Biezen, but fel in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
Cooper Smith made Emanuel Vacalares work, but ultimately fell, 2-6-5-7 in No. 2 singles.
The Eagles will play at Bentley on October 6 at 3 p.m.
