Greensburg, Pa. - The Post University men's golf team sits in 16th place after the first round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional on Thursday afternoon at Totteridge Golf Course after shooting a 28-over par 316.
Fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference for Wilmington leads after the first round after shooting an 8-over par 296, two shots ahead of Southern New Hampshire and Franklin Pierce.
Leading the way for the Eagles is freshman
Bill Koch (Ubstadt, Germany) who shot a 4-over par 76 and is tied for 21st. Senior
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) shot a 7-over par 79. Freshman
Felix Hinderthuer (Mutterstadt, Germany) was a shot behind with an 8-over par 80. Junior
Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) and freshman
Riley Card (Burlington, Ontario) each finished with an 81.
Erickson led all Eagles with three birdies on the day. Koch shot one over par on the front nine.
Matt Paradis of Southern New Hampshire leads all individuals after shooting a 5-under par 67. He leads by four strokes over Owen Elliott of Shepherd University and Nathan Patterson of Franklin Pierce.
