Greensburg, Pa. - The Post University golf team posted a seven stroke improvement and are tied for 12th place after the second round of the Division II Atlantic/East Regional at Totteridge Golf Course. The Eagles shot a 309 after shooting a 316 in round one and are +49 for the tournament.
Bentley has the team lead as they are 22-over par, one shot ahead of Southern New Hampshire.
Freshman
Bill Koch (Ubstadt, Germany), the top Eagles finisher on the day shot a 3-over par 75, a one stroke improvement from the day before and is now tied for 19th at 7-over par. Classmate
Riley Card (Burlington, Ontario) shot a 4-over par 76 and is now 13-over par for the tournament, as is senior
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.), who shot a second round 78.
Card has been the best player in par 3s during the tournament, shooting a 1-under par. He is the lone player in the tournament under par on par 3s. Koch is fourth in the tournament in pars with 26.
Freshman
Felix Hinderthuer (Mutterstadt, Germany) shot his second straight 80 and sits at 16-over par for the tournament and junior
Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) rounded out the Eagles, shooting an 83 as he sits at 19-over par.
Matt Paradis of Southern New Hampshire has a commanding eight stroke lead after shooting a 2-under par 70. He is 7-under par for the tournament.
