Concord, N.H. - The Post University men's golf team sits in seventh place after the first round of the Penmen Spring Invitational at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. The Eagles shot a 14-over par 302.
Leading the way for the Eagles was freshman
Bill Koch (Ubstadt, Germany), who shot a 2-over par 74 and is tied for 17th. Just a stroke behind and tied for 20th are teammates freshman
Riley Card (Burlington, Ontario) and senior
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) who both shot a 75. Freshman
Felix Hinderthuer (Mutterstadt, Germany) and junior
Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) each shot a 4-over 76 and senior
Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France) shot a 77.
There is a five way tie for first as Jonathan Petrin (Le Moyne), Ryan Rucinski (Wilmington), Matt Paradis (SNHU), Enrique Valverde (Wilmington) and Sam Myers (Franklin Pierce0 all shot 2-under par 70. Franklin Pierce leads the team side after shooting a 1-over par 289. Southern New Hampshire and St. Thomas Aquinas are both one shot back.
