Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University men's tennis team took down Jefferson, 6-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match on Wednesday.
The Eagles won all six of their singles matches. Senior
Jonathan Compres (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) won no. 1 singles after falling behind a set, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore
Nino Krneta (Zadar, Croatia) won no. 2 singles. Freshman
Konstantin Belov (Ivanovo, Russia) and junior
Samuel Urban (Kosice, Slovakia) won no. 3 and no. 4 singles, respectively. Freshman
Alexandre Romieu (Lyon, France) didn't drop a game in his straight set win in no. 5 singles and senior
Ivan Rajevac (Dubrovnik, Croatia) completed the singles sweep.
The Eagles did not drop a set in no. 2 through no. 6 singles.
Post sits at 10-6 now on the season and 3-3 in the CACC. They will take on Southern New Hampshire University on Thursday.
