Philadelphia, Pa. - Post came out ready to play against one of the East Region's best teams. After trailing 29-9 in the first matchup between the two teams, the Eagles trailed by only one point (12-11) at the end of the first quarter in tonights matchup. 

The Eagles connected on five of 15 first half three pointers. The freshmen tandem of Sha'Raya Haines and Melanie Polanco went a combined 6-14 from the field (4-11 from deep) and accounted for 16 of the Eagles 24 first half points. 

Gabriela Middleton did what she has done so well all season in the first half - fill up the box score. The senior guard scored five points, collected three rebounds and dished out three assists while picking up one steal. 

Trailing by seven at the half, the Eagles came out in the third quarter and scored six straight points. Mia Crooms scored the first four, followed by a Jessica DeGree lay up. Just like that, the Rams lead was trimmed to one point and the Eagles had momentum. 

From that point, Jefferson went on a 16-2 run to distance themselves from Post. 

The Rams took a 15 point lead into the fourth quarter and never looked back. The fourth quarter was the Rams highest scoring quarter and the largest margin for the game, outscoring Post 23-14. 

Haines ended the game as the Eagles leading scorer with 12 points. 

Middleton scored ten points and added nine rebounds and four assists in her last game in a Post uniform. 

Lauren Chambers contributed five points and two rebounds in her final game as an Eagle. 

For the Rams, the second half was a big one. As a team they shot 16-27 (nearly 60%) from the field and converted 9 of 13 free throws. 

Alynna Williams and Beverly Kum scored 14 and 12 respectively to lead the way for the Rams. 

Sabrina Lytes had one of her best games of the season off the bench for Rams. She scored 11 points on 5-6 shooting from the field.
