Eagles Tied For Third Behind Guerrera’s Strong Start At CACC Championships

Haworth, N.J. – Two Post University men's golfers are in the top ten and the team sits in third after shooting a 22-over par 308 during the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships at White Beeches Golf and Country Club on Monday.

Senior Anthony Guerrera is tied for third after shooting a 2-over par 74 and sophomore Felix Hinderthur is tied for ninth after his 5-over par 77.

Goldey-Beacom is currently leading the team competition after a 10-over par 298. Wilmington is in second, ten strokes back. Pablo Saenz Avila of Goldey-Beacom leads all players with a 2-under par 70.

Sophomore Riley Card shot a 7-over par 79 and senior Ben McKenna and sophomore Bill Koch each shot an 80.

Guerrera was tied for first in par four scoring at one over par. He was also tied for second in pars with 12 and was tied for the most birdies by an Eagle with two along with Koch. Card was tied for fourth in par three scoring at even par.
