Watertown, Conn. – Seniors Ben McKenna shot a second round 74 and classmate Anthony Guerrera shot a 75, as the Post University men's golf team finished in seventh place with a 40-over par 608 at the Post Eagles Invitational at the Watertown Golf Club.
McKenna and Guerrera both finished tied for ninth with a 6-over par 148.
Assumption won the team title with a 23-over par 591 and Mark Bryant of Assumption won the individual title with a 1-under par 141.
Sophomore Bill Koch finished with an 11-over par 153, shooting a 74 in the second round. Classmates Felix Hunderthuer finished with a 17-over par 159 and Riley Card had a 24-over par 166.
Sophomore Sam Gaboury, playing as an individual finished at 12-over par 154 and tying for 29th.
McKenna finished tied for second in par four scoring at 2-over par and Koch finished tied for third in par five scoring at 3-under par.
Up next, the Eagles will play in the Le Moyne Invitational on October 18-19.
