The Men's Tennis team took to the courts of Edgewood Bath and Tennis for their second match of the year, against Assumption College.

Post opened up with a strong showing in doubles. Jonathan Compres (Rockland County, NY) and Sam Urban (Košice, Slovakia) earned a convincing 6-1 win. Joe Alvord (Southbury, CT) and Matt Spina (Wolcott, CT) also played well in doubles, earning a 6-2 win. These two performances gave Post 1 point going into the singles matches. 

Post and Assumption split the six singles matches:

• Johnathan Compres (1) defeated Max Francis 6-3, 6-2
• Sam Urban (3) defeated Reb Mariano 3-6, 6-3 (10-7). Sam clinched the match with this win.
• Joe Alvord (4) defeated Brandon Sze 6-2, 3-6 (10-7)

This win gives Men's Tennis (1-1) their first victory of the year 

Next up for the eagles is a Oct. 3 match with Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.
