Manchester, N.H. - The Post University women's tennis team defeated Saint Anselm, 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference road match.
The Eagles are now 4-3 on the season.
The Eagles took two out of three doubles matches for a point as junior
Areej Farah (Janabiyah, Bahrain) and senior
Juliana Seabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) won their match in No. 2 doubles, 6-3 and seniors
Jessica Bergen (Bethel, Conn.) and
Sarah Namazi (Waterbury, Conn.) won no. 3 doubles, 6-4.
The Eagles won three matches in singles and three didn't finish. Junior
Andrea Sandoval (Guadalajara, Mexico) won singles No. 1, 6-3, 6-1 over Tess Malerbi. Bergen won her No. 5 singles match 6-2, 6-1 over Maikah Bulpitt and Namazi closed out the match in her No. 6 singles win, 6-1, 10-2 over Kayla Hodas.
Up next for the Eagles is a road match at Southern New Hampshire.
