Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University Eagles women's basketball team will take its two-game winning streak into Rutherford, N.J. as it takes on Felician in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Eagles are 5-12 overall and 5-3 in the CACC, putting them in fourth place in the North Division.
Post is coming off of a thrilling 76-73 overtime win at Nyack on Jan. 17 where its jumped out to a 20-0 lead early on before Nyack stormed back in the final minutes to send the game into overtime. The bench, led by sophomores Dericka Sims (Chesapeake, Va.) and Jessica Ayala (Middletown, N.Y.) who combined to score six of the eight points in the extra frame to lead the Eagles to the win.
Sophomore Nicole Sheloski (Hudson Falls, N.Y.) led the way for the Eagles, scoring a career-high 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Junior Deaisia Acklin (Bronx, N.Y.) scored 17 points and took down nine rebounds and Ayala scored 10 points off of the bench.

Acklin is currently tied for seventh in the CACC in scoring at 14.4 points per game, thanks in large part to her ability to get to the free-throw line. She has made 63 free throws this season, which is fourth in the CACC.
About Felician
Felician is currently 3-13 overall and 2-7 in the CACC, but have won two straight games, including a 68-50 win at Nyack on Jan. 13. Felician is led by Ashley Morris, who averages 13.8 points per game. Freshman Shyla Osmond is having a strong first year, averaging 13.4 points per game.
The Eagles and Golden Falcons have met once already this year on Dec. 3, where the Eagles delivered a 99-76 win thanks to a 16 point first half lead. Senior Jacquelynne Pugh (Grahamsville, N.Y.) scored 28 points to lead the Eagles and Acklin had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
