Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University women's basketball team steps back onto the court as it takes on Nyack in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) road matchup on Feb. 5.
The Eagles are coming off of a thrilling, 83-79 victory over Goldey-Beacom on Feb. 1, after a key steal by senior
Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) in the closing seconds thwarted the Lightning's comeback attempt. Freshman
Liz Falcigno (Middletown, Conn.) was sensational in the game, scoring 24 points, with six rebounds, four assists and five steals.
It was the second straight win for the Eagles, who now stand at 7-11 overall and 7-5 in the CACC North Division, good enough for third.
Falcigno Honored
For her efforts in the Feb. 1 win and the Jan. 28 win over Dominican, Falcigno was named CACC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. She averaged 16.5 points, four rebounds and 3.5 steals during the two wins. She also won the award on Dec. 9, after a 20 point outing against Wilmington.

The Eagles are 14-9 all-time against Nyack, and have won the last four times these two teams have met.
