Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University women's basketball team will take on Felician in the team's first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference home game of the season on December 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Drubner Center.
The Eagles currently sit at 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the CACC and are in third place in the CACC North Division.
Post is coming off of an 86-70 defeat from New York Institute of Technology in an out-of-conference game on November 30. In that game, sophomore Liz Falcigno (Middletown, Conn.) scored 25 points and freshman Lexus Childs-Harris (New London, Conn.) scored 11. The Eagles fell behind by 10 points early in the first half, but narrowed the deficit to four points before the Bears pulled away in the second half.

Both junior Deaisia Acklin (Bronx, N.Y.) and senior Jacquelynne Pugh (Grahamsville, N.Y.) are both in the top 10 in the CACC in steals per game. Acklin is tied for seventh at 2.8 steals per game. Pugh is 10th at 2.5 steals per game. The Eagles are second in the conference at 11.2 steals per game. Georgian Court is first with 11.6 steals per game.
The Eagles also rank second in free-throw percentage at 71.6 percent. Caldwell leads at 77 percent.
About Felician
Felician is currently sixth in the CACC North Division with a 1-5 overall record and 0-2 record in the CACC. They are coming off of an 81-65 loss against Caldwell on Nov. 25. It was the team's second consecutive loss. Four players scored in double figures for the Golden Falcons, including Eliana Scanlon, who led the team with 15 points in the game. Ashley Morris had a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Last season, Felician finished in third place in the North Division with a 12-15 overall record and 10-9 record in the CACC.
Morris, a senior, leads the team in scoring at 13.2 points per game. She is also the top offensive rebounder in the conference.
