Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) looks to break the all-time women's basketball school scoring mark as the Post University Eagles take on the Concordia Clippers in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Drubner Center.
Latham is currently second on the all-time list with 1,497 points in her career, just behind 2002 graduate,
Tracey Garofalo, who finished her career with 1,510 points. Connecticut Public Television will be there to call the historic moment.
Latham currently the leading scorer in the CACC, averaging 23.3 points per game. She is also second in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting at a 54.9 percent clip.
The Eagles are currently 4-9 overall and 4-3 in the CACC. They sit third in the North Division. They also lead the conference in points per game at 77.8 points per game.
In Their Last Game
In the last game for the Eagles, they relinquished a 23 point lead in an 89-80 loss to Caldwell in a CACC matchup. The Eagles held a 54-31 lead in the first half before the Cougars went on a 24-0 to take the lead, and eventually, the game.
