WATERBURY, Conn. - The Post University Eagles women's basketball team looks to build on its first win of the season when it takes on Southern New Hampshire University on Nov. 16 in a non-conference road game.

In the Eagles last game on Nov. 13, they defeated Concordia in its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game in Bronxville, N.Y. Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) paced the Eagles with a career-high 33 points and Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) had a double-double, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds on the day. 

Climbing Up The Charts

Latham's 33 points against Concordia gave her 1,267 points in her career at Post (1-2, 1-0 CACC). That is good for third all-time. Up next for Latham is Tadj Williams (Class of 2006) who is second all-time with 1,321 points. Tracey Garofolo (Class of 2002) is the all-time leading scorer with 1,510.

Looking For Number One

The Penmen are led by Amra Elezovic, who leads the team in points per game at 21.5 and rebounds per game at 7.0,

Post is 0-6 all-time against Southern New Hampshire (1-1, 0-0 NE-10), but came as close as they have ever been to defeating the Penmen last season, dropping a 66-57 game to them on Dec. 15, 2012. In that game, the teams were tied at the half before the Penmen pulled away in the second half. Latham and Wright-James led the team with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
