BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –
Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) scored a career-high 33 points and
Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) had a double-double as the Post University women's basketball team got its first win of the season and first win in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with a 101-80 victory over Concordia, N.Y.
The teams traded leads back and forth for the first ten minutes of the game before Post was able to take hold of a lead for longer than just a few minutes.

Wright-James led all Post players in the major categories with 10 points, five rebounds and three assists in the first half. Wright-James hit two threes in the first half, including the first made basket of the game to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead. The Eagles would finish the half on a 10-2 run with Latham scoring the final four points of the half to put Post up 39-30 at halftime.

Concordia would make a small 11-5 run to open the half to bring their deficit to three, but Post followed with an 18-4 run with nine points coming from Latham. Latham was on fire throughout the half, scoring 25 of her points on 10-for-13 shooting.

The Clippers (0-3, 0-1 CACC) would get no closer than eight points the rest of the way as Jessica Rosalbo of Concordia hit a three-pointer at the 9:08 mark to make it a 70-62 game.

The Eagles would turn on the afterburners from there on, closing the game out on a 31-18 run.
Hailey Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) had another big day for the Eagles. The reigning CACC defensive player of the week chipped in with 15 points and five rebounds.
Jacquelynne Pugh (Grahamsville, N.Y.) finished with six points, seven assists and four rebounds.

Megan Burns and Rebecca Gordon each had 21 points to pace Concordia.

The Eagles (1-2, 1-0 CACC) outscored Concordia 23-13 in second-chance points and in points off of turnovers, 27-20.
