The Post University women's basketball team looks to extend its best Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) start in school history as they host Felician on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
The Eagles four-game winning streak was snapped on Saturday in a 66-57 defeat at the hands of Southern New Hampshire. Post has won its last nine CACC contests dating back to last season and sits at 6-4 overall and 5-0 in conference play on the year.

The Eagles lost their first game since Nov. 21 as it dropped a non-conference matchup with Southern New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon. Junior
Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) scored a team-high 15 points to go along with five rebounds and four steals. Southern New Hampshire made seven of its first nine attempts to open a 14-0 lead at the 15:03 mark of the first.
Latham hit a jumper in the lane with 2:38 remaining in the half to give Post its first lead of the afternoon at 29-28. Brooks split a pair of free throws with 1.5 seconds left knot the game 33-33 heading into the intermission. The Penmen used a 14-4 run out of the break to open up a 47-37 advantage at the 13:51 mark of the second half. Southern New Hampshire extended its lead to as many as 12 at 60-48 with 6:22 remaining in the game.
SERIES HISTORY:
Post is 13-18 all-time against Felician and has dropped the last six matchups. The Eagles last victory came in a 65-62 triumph at home on Feb. 24, 2009.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN FALCONS
Felician enters Wednesday's contest with a record of 3-7 overall and 3-2 in CACC play. The Golden Falcons have won two of their last three games, but dropped their last outing at Caldwell 78-47. They are 1-4 in road games this season. Junior forward Trina Plummer leads the team in score at 11.2 points per game and has two double-doubles on the season. Felician is fourth in the CACC in blocks per game at 3.1 and fifth in steals per game at 10.2.

As of the NCAA Division II rankings from Dec. 16,
Fernanda Mansilla ranks eighth in the nation with 6.0 assists per game. The Eagles are 28
th in the country with 7.4 made three-pointers per game.
EAGLES AMONG CACC LEADERS
Post averages 7.4 three-pointers made per game to lead the CACC and is third with a 32.0 shooting percentage from deep. The Eagles are second in the league, turning the ball over just 16.7 times per contest.

Jessica Webber and
Aubrey Latham are in the top six in the CACC in shooting percentage behind the arc. Webber is second at 46.7% and Latham sits in sixth at 37.0%. Latham is also sixth in scoring at 16.0 points per game.
LIVE BY THE THREE
The Eagles have been knocking down shots from behind the arc all season. In all six victories this season, Post has taken over 20 shots from distance and made at least seven. The Eagles are the top three-point shooting team in the conference at 7.4 made per game. Against Molloy, they made a season-high 11 from distance.
DISHING OUT THE ASSISTS
Junior
Fernanda Mansilla has been putting her teammates in position to score all season. She has 60 total assists on the season and leads the CACC and is eighth in the nation with 6.0 assists per contest. Against Chestnut Hill on Dec. 8, Mansilla dished out 11 assists, the highest total by an Eagle since the 2004-05 season.
COUNTDOWN TO 1,000 POINTS
Aubrey Latham comes into the week with 890 career points and is just 115 points away from joining the 1,000-point club. In four career games against Felician, Latham has averaged just 8.0 points per game. Her best effort came on Dec. 10, 2009 as she scored 15 points.
PRESEASON PROGNOSTICATIONS
Post was selected to finish fifth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll announced on Nov. 12. The Eagles received 35 total points in the poll. Caldwell garnered 89 points and 11 first place votes and was selected as the North Division favorite. Defending conference champion, Holy Family, earned 95 points and 11 first place votes and was tabbed as the South Division favorite.

Aubrey Latham captains for the 2012-13 season. Brooks is one of the Eagles' top shooters. She led the team and was second in the conference with a 38.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Chance was 13th in NCAA Division II with 11.3 rebounds per game and named CACC Honorable Mention in 2011-12. Latham led the Eagles in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 15.5 points per game. She comes into the season just 238 points away from 1,000 for her career.
