The Post University women's basketball team opens up its home schedule this week with two games. The Eagles host Concordia in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. In-state rival Bridgeport comes to the Drubner Center on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. The Eagles look to extend their winning streak to six games in CACC play.

Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) leads Post with 13.7 points per game and a shooting percentage of .421 (16-for-38). Graduate student
Monique Chance (Brooklyn, Conn.) has grabbed 7.0 rebounds per game, while junior
Fernanda Mansilla (Ancud, Chile) has dished out 5.0 assists per game.
Concordia (0-4, 0-1 CACC) comes into the week on an eight-game losing streak, dating back to last season. The Clippers last victory came on Feb. 6, 2012 at Wilmington, 78-71. Concordia is third in the CACC averaging 5.5 three-pointers made per game. Senior guard Krystina Agard leads the Clippers with 14.0 points per game. They were selected sixth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll.
Bridgeport (3-0) defeated Concordia, 69-53, at home its last time out. The Knights were selected fourth in the East Coast Conference (ECC) preseason poll. Senior center Tanisha Carter was picked as the preseason Player of the Year. Carter leads the Knights averaging 21.0 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Fernanda Mansilla (Ancud, Chile) added 13 points each in the victory. Mansilla also dished out seven assists and grabbed six boards.
With the Eagles up 19-16 with 4:23 remaining in the first half, Post stepped up its defense and held Nyack scoreless for the remainder of the period. Post closed out the stanza on an 11-0 run to head into the break with a 30-16 advantage. The Eagles put the game out of reach with a 14-1 run over four minutes to make the score 70-42 with 2:04 remaining. Post dominated the glass, outrebounding the Warriors 63-33, and held a 24-11 edge in offensive rebounds.

Post holds an 8-1 all-time record against the Clippers. The lone defeat came at Concordia, 68-42, on Jan. 19, 2010. The Eagles have never lost at home in the series.

EAGLES IN HOME OPENERS
Post is 4-6 in its last 10 home openers. The Eagles have won two of their last three Drubner Center opening games. Last season, Post defeated Georgian Court 93-77 in its first game at home on Nov. 16, 2011.

PRESEASON PROGNOSTICATIONS
Post was selected to finish fifth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll announced on Nov. 12. The Eagles received 35 total points in the poll. Caldwell garnered 89 points and 11 first place votes and was selected as the North Division favorite. Defending conference champion, Holy Family, earned 95 points and 11 first place votes and was tabbed as the South Division favorite.
DOUBLE-DIGITS FOR LATHAM
Aubrey Latham has posted double-digit scoring efforts in 16 of the Eagles' last 19 games. She scored a career-high 29 points during the stretch on Jan. 24 against Concordia. Latham tallied 13 points her last time out at Nyack.

Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) captains for the 2012-13 season. Brooks is one of the Eagles' top shooters. She led the team and was second in the conference with a 38.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Chance was 13th in NCAA Division II with 11.3 rebounds per game and named CACC Honorable Mention in 2011-12. Latham led the Eagles in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 15.5 points per game. She comes into the season just 238 points away from 1,000 for her career.
