WATERBURY, Conn. (February 19, 2011)-- The Philadelphia University women's basketball team (13-11, 9-8 CACC) topped Post University 84-54 Saturday afternoon at the Gallagher Athletic Center in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia U. center Christine Woodling led all scorers with 24 points.
Four players (
Mallorie Michalak,
Colleen Hanscom,
Raven Wright-James, and
Casey Brooks) led the Lady Eagles (8-16, 6-11 CACC) with 8 points apiece.
The Eagles trailed the entire way, and shot just 32 percent from the field. They fell behind 43-17 at halftime.
Post University returns to Waterbury's Most Famous Arena, the Drubner Center, on Wednesday to take on 18-5 Caldwell College. The action begins at 6 pm.
