Women's Basketball rolls over Concordia, 72-59

WATERBURY, Conn. (January 19, 2011)--Casey Brooks poured in a team-high 18 points, and Post University defeated Concordia College, 72-59, Wednesday at the Drubner Center.

Brooks was on fire from the field, knocking down six of nine shot attempts. She was also perfect from the free throw line, going 5-for-5 in a terrific performance.

Post University (6-8, 4-3 CACC) led the entire way, holding Concordia to just 38 percent shooting from the field. The Eagles also forced 25 Clippers turnovers.

Krystina Agard led Concordia (2-13, 1-8) with 25 points on 9-for-14 shooting. Alease Vaughn added 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Chanessa Blakemore also had a banner day for the Clippers, scoring 10 points and pulling down 15 rebounds.

The Eagles return to action Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia to take on Chestnut Hill College.
