WATEBURY, Conn. (November 30, 2009) Post University's Women's Basketball team picked up their second straight win Monday night at the Drubner Center over Queens College 72-63. The win improves the Eagles record to 3-3 this season. 

Freshman Aubrey Latham scored a game high 19 points and 9 rebounds. Elizabeth Johnson tallied 14, while junior Jhenel Franklin scored 13 points and 15 rebounds for a double double. Christine Harnischfeger scored 16 points with 4 rebounds leading Queens College.

For the first 5:54 of the first half, the game appeared as though it was going to be a defensive battle throughout when Queens held an early 3-2 advantage. With 3:28 to play in the half, Queens built up a 25-17 point lead. The Eagles would rally at the end of the half to trail by only two, 31-29 at the break.

With 16:48 to play in the game, it was tied at 34. In less than 10 minutes, the Eagles built up a 13 point led, the largest of the game. Consecutive three point field goals from Janine Maser and Jennifer Robins cut the lead to 7. Queens would not get any closer as Post University held on for the 72-63 point victory.
The loss drops Queens College to 0-3 overall.

Post University will be back in action again on December 8th at home against Dominican College for their first CACC conference game of the season.
