Post University Women's Basketball Defeats Mercy 80-61

Aubrey Latham registered her first career double double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in Post University's 80-61 victory over Mercy Tuesday night. The win is the second of the season improving the Eagles to 2-3 overall.
“Our team pulled together and looked extremely competitive tonight,” said
Tracey Garofalo, Post University Women's Basketball Head Coach. “Tonight's performance is an effort we can build upon as the season progresses and continue to strengthen the athletic program at Post University.”
The Eagles led at the half 33-28. Post University opened the second half with a 9-0 run. With 7:23 to play Mercy cut the Eagle lead to 7, but Post University would hold on for the 80-61 win.

Elizabeth Johnson scored a game high 24 points with 7 rebounds.
Mallorie Michalak scored 17 points including shooting 2-2 from beyond the arc and had 8 assists.
Post University will be in action again at the Drubner Center on Monday November 30th against Queens College.
