Lady Eagles Fall to Bridgeport 56-39

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (November 18, 2009) Post University's Women's Basketball team lost to Bridgeport Wednesday night 56-39. The loss drops the Eagles to 0-2 this season.

The first half was controlled by the Purple Knights outscoring the Eagles 32-18, but in the second half Post University stepped scoring 21 to Bridgeport's 24. The Eagles shot just under 28% for the game, while Bridgeport was just under 34%. 

With 8:24 to play in the second half the Bridgeport lead was 26 and the Eagles rallied to cut the deficit to 17 by game's end. 

Aubrey Latham led scoring for the Eagles with 11 points and Kaila Michonski had 8.
Post University will be in action again on Friday night at the Drubner Center for the first home game of the season against NYIT.
