WATERBURY, Conn (March 8, 2011) Post University women’s lacrosse player Stephanie Marran has been named Post University Female Athlete of the Week.

Stephanie Marran became the first Post University athlete to be named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s lacrosse. Marran led the Eagles to their first victory in program history, a 13-10 win over Bridgeport Friday afternoon, by scoring five goals. She also added four goals and one assist in the season opener against Queens on Wednesday. The Eagles women’s lacrosse team will return to competition on Sunday March 13 as they host Philadelphia.
