Geraldo Fernandez hit two game winning three pointers for the Eagles this week as Post University cruised to a 2-0 week over Caldwell and USP. The first three ball was with 2.2 second to play against Caldwell breaking a 78-78 tie and giving the Eagles an 81-78 victory. Fernandez’s NBA range three hit nothing but the bottom of the net. The second heroic bucket came against USP on Saturday with 34 seconds to play putting the Eagles up 48-44, en route to a 50-47 victory. He had 22 points in the game against Caldwell and averaged 14.5 on the week.
