WATERBURY, Conn (October 4, 2010) Golfer David McGregor has been named this week’s Post University Male Athlete of the Week.

McGregor (72-69—141) shot three under par at the CenturyLink Collegiate Invitational hosted by Barton College placing tied for second overall, just two strokes out of first. The Eagles played 36 holes in one day after rain cancelled the first day of competition on 6,912 yard, par-72 course. After finishing third overall behind Cape Fear CC and Barton the Eagles are now ranked 63rd nationally, the highest ranking in program history.
