WATERBURY, Conn (March 22, 2010) Softball player Samantha Canning has been named this week’s Post University Female Athlete of the Week.

Canning had seven hits scoring 3 runs in a 3-3 week for the Eagles. Canning hit a homerun against Queens College on Sunday helping Post University secure a 6-3 victory. Canning had a .647 slugging percentage along with a .412 batting average in six games last week.
