Tiffany Kelver is entering her second season as an assistant coach with the Post University women’s basketball team. At Post, Coach Kelver is in charge of coordinating both recruiting and the strength and conditioning program. In addition, she oversees the development of the perimeter players.
Coach Kelver came to Post University after serving the past three seasons as an assistant at Eastern Connecticut State University. While at Eastern, Kelver was instrumental in recruiting, managing the strength and conditioning program, and the development of the perimeter players. During her three years at Eastern the program participated in the NCAA DIII tournament in both 2008 and 2009.
Prior to Eastern, Kelver was an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut – Avery Point. During her time at Avery Point, she was responsible for recruiting and creating the strength and conditioning program. Her efforts led the program to a play-off appearance in their first year of existence.
Coach Kelver began her coaching career with assistant positions at Quincy University (IL) and Saint Joseph’s College in Indiana. The entry into coaching came after a stellar playing career at Quincy University, in which she helped lead the program to a 2004 Elite Eight appearance.
As a student-athlete, Kelver played four seasons as a point guard at Division II Quincy University. During her time as a player she was a 4-year captain as well as becoming only the fifteenth player in the Quincy’s storied history to register 1000 career points. When her career wrapped, Tiffany Kelver was the all-time assist and steals leader for the women’s basketball program.
Kelver holds bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education from Quincy University. Currently, Coach Kelver is pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology from California Coast University.
In addition to her coaching responsibilities at Post University, Tiffany Kelver is a Personal Trainer for Body Physics (Southbury, CT), and certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
