Post University Sprint Football Adds Games against Cornell and Princeton

WATERBURY, Conn (August 27, 2010) Post University Sprint Football Coach Pete Ewald announced Friday that the Eagles have officially added two additional games to the inaugural 2010 football schedule. The Eagles will play Cornell on Oct 1st and Princeton on Oct 7th. The two away Friday games are slated for a 7pm kick-off.

“Our original recruiting target was thirty student-athletes, but as news of the program spread we were able to recruit almost double that amount,” said Ewald. “With the strength of the recruiting class I felt comfortable in adding two more games, which will only help this program mature.”

Post University will play its inaugural game at the University of Pennsylvania September 24th at historic Franklin Field. The first home game will be played at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury on October 30th.
