Danielle Charette Added to Post University's Women's Soccer Roster

WATERBURY, Conn (June 8, 2010) Post University's 2010 Women's Soccer team will consist of three student-athletes from Naugatuck. The latest among them is midfielder Danielle Charette.

“The campus was nearby and it felt like home so it seemed like the perfect fit for me,” said Charette. “I competed against Sabrina Sinopoli from Watertown in high school and I think I will blend well with her style of play.”

Charette was named to the All-Naugatuck Valley League team and was an MVP. 

“Danielle is one of the most technically gifted players around and she has excellent field vision with a great passing ability,” said John Benitez, Eagles Head Coach. “She will be a great addition to the midfield as well as being that player that can jump start an offense.  We are looking for her to lead the team in assists in the years to come.”

Charette intends to pursue a degree in Psychology at Post University.
