Diana Castellano and Francisco Abreu Named Post University Athletes of the Week

WATERBURY, Conn (October 5, 2009) Freshmen Cross Country runners Diana Castellano and Francisco Abreu have been named this week's Post University Athletes of the Week.

Castellano placed second in Post University's home meet against Bridgeport, Mitchell, and Albertus Magnus. She ran the course at Hop Brook State Park in 21:58, leading the Eagles to a second place effort overall.

Abreu, who is local to Waterbury and attended Crosby High School, placed 7th in the Men's race. His time of 33:18 was fasted among the Eagles. As a team, Post University placed 3rd in the event.
