NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Post University had 14 student-athletes named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Fall All-Academic Team on Wednesday. Women's soccer led the way with four student-athletes selected to the team.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC Championship sport in the Fall. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher through the 2014 spring semester.

Women's soccer was led by senior Brina Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) was selected for the third time in her career. Two-time honorees juniors Brianne Scott (Williamstown, N.J.) and Alja Poklar (Koper, Slovenia) and first timer sophomore Sylvia Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) rounded out the team.
 
Women's tennis placed three on the team for the first time including senior Miranda Polaski (Agawam, Mass.), junior Jasana Levy (Meriden, Conn.), and sophomore Jamie Wilkin (Wallkill, N.Y.).
 
Three volleyball student-athletes were honored. Senior Julia Slyaktina (Moscow, Russia) made the team for the second time. Sophomores Nicole Brown (Queens, N.Y.) and Kissylla dos Reis (Danbury, Conn.) made their debut.
 
Men's soccer and cross country each placed two on the team. Senior Raphael Moura (Danbury, Conn.) and sophomore Jason Goja (Aveiro, Portugal) represented the soccer team.  Sophomore Cross country runners John Ducham (Waterbury, Conn.) and Ryan Acey (Plainville, Conn.) were selected for the first time.
 
A record total of 218 student-athletes from the 14 conference institutions earned a spot on the team. Women's soccer led the conference with 70 total selections.
