First Time Since 2011 Eagles Have Received Honor

2014 IWLCA Academic Honor Squads

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was named a Division II Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Thursday. This marks the first time since 2011 Post has earned the honor.

To be eligible for the award the team must post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. A total of 45 institutions from Division II earned the honor this year. Post is one of just four schools in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to be honored along with Georgian Court, Philadelphia, and Wilmington.

A total of 85 Division I and 125 Division III institutions also made the list.

Post had its best season in school history finishing with a 4-12 record including a 4-8 CACC record, good for third in the North Division. The Eagles also had their first-ever All-American as rising senior Miranda Polaski (Agawam, Mass.) earned the honor in June.
