Wright-James and Willis Named CACC Winter All-Academic

Total of 37 Student-Athletes Earned All-Academic Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two Post University student-athletes were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Winter All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC Championship sport in the Winter. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher through the winter semester.

Senior Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) of the women's basketball team was one of just six student-athletes to earn the honor for the third time in their careers. The psychology major sports a 3.61 cumulative grade-point average.

Senior Devin Willis (Seattle, Wash.) was honored for the first time in his career and was one of 11 men's basketball student-athletes to named All-Academic. Willis had the third-highest grade-point average of anyone in the conference at an impressive 3.90.

A total of 37 student-athletes from the 14 conference institutions earned a spot on the team.
