After Concordia (7-12, 3-6 CACC) netted the first two points of the game at the foul line, the Eagles scored seven unanswered points to claim a 7-2 advantage with 15:54 to play in the opening half. The Clippers could not pull away from Post (11-7, 7-4 CACC) in the first half, and never led by more than four, 16-12, after Brandon Whitaker converted a three-point play at the 9:20 mark.

Carbajal gave Post a 25-23 lead with 2:15 remaining before intermission, but Concordia's Kyle Kube scored the final five points of the stanza to give the Clippers a 28-25 advantage at the break.

With Concordia ahead 37-32 and 12:22 to play in the second half, the Clippers used a 12-2 run over a span of 3:21 to grow their lead to 48-34 with 9:01 remaining.
