Errol Reid (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica), the Post University men's soccer team clinched a home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) quarterfinal matchup with a 2-0 win at Holy Family on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Post ran its current win streak to six matches.
The victory enabled Post to match its win total from a season ago. The record for wins in a season is 14 and that came during the 2008 campaign.
After the teams played a scoreless first half, Eno got Post (11-2-3, 7-0-3 CACC) on the board in the 47
th minute with his first game-winner of the season. Junior
Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.) had his shot stopped by Tigers' goalkeeper Kelly Diaz, but Eno buried the rebound to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead.

Korab Muaremi (Danbury, Conn.) netted an insurance goal at the 87:47 mark when he converted a direct kick that went into the upper left corner of the goal. It was his first goal of the season.
For the match, Post held a 14-13 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks. Individually, Reid made five saves and his counterpart Diaz tallied four stops for Holy Family (7-7-2, 4-5-1 CACC).
Post, which is ranked fifth in the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division II East Region Poll, will face a tough test when it travels to LIU Post for a non-conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 23. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m. The Pioneers were ranked third in the country in the latest NSCAA Coaches' Poll.
