WATERBURY, Conn (August 23, 2011) Post University's women's lacrosse team has been named to the Intercollegiate Woman's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Squad. The Eagles were one of 16 Division II schools recognized and the only CACC program named to this year's team.

“Division II focuses on balancing athletics with academics, which is a high priority at Post University,” said Anthony Fallacaro. “This recognition is one of several academic achievements that Post University's student-athletes have obtained this season, which serves as a testament to their dedication in the classroom and on the field.”

To qualify for the 2011 IWCLA Academic Squad, the Eagles maintained a cumulative 3.0 GPA for the entire 2010-2011 school year.
