NEW HAVEN, Conn (April 7, 2011) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2010-11 winter athletic season. Post University had two student-athletes make this year's team of the 33 total athletes from the 14 conference schools.
Both Liz Johnson and Taylor Doyle are two sport athletes studying to obtain a degree in Sport Management.
Johnson played soccer this fall and basketball in the winter. She has been recognized by the CACC throughout her career for academics by making the All-Academic Team every year.
Doyle played volleyball in the fall and joined Johnson on the basketball court this winter. Similarly for Doyle, as a junior she has made the team a total of four times.
In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC
Championship sport in the winter. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester. Freshmen are not eligible for the CACC All-Academic team.
